Atalay, Nihan

Turkish flutist Nihan Atalay has studied flute at the Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul, in Lyon, France, and at the Conservatoire de Musique in Lausanne with José Daniel Castellon. Additionally she studied Early Music with Serge Saitta at the Music University of Geneva.
Over the years she has tackled various repertoire, from baroque to contemporary music, performing under direction of Pierre Boulez as well as early music grands like Florence Malgoire, Jonathan Rubin and Francis Biggi.
Currently she is a faculty member at the Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul, frequently collaborating with the Geneva Haute Ecole de Musique in organizing concerts and projects of various scope.
