Aubrun, Jocelyn

Jocelyn Aubrun is an acclaimed French flutist, recognized as a versatile soloist, chamber musician, and orchestra principal who upholds the tradition of the great French flute school.
Aubrun's education included earning First Prizes in flute, piano, music theory, and chamber music from the Conservatoire de Nice (CNR) in 2000. He received a Master's degree in flute from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon (CNSMD Lyon) in 2004. He also studied baroque flute at the Haute École de Musique de Genève and took private lessons with flutist Aurèle Nicolet.
Since 2006, Aubrun has been the Principal Flute with the Orchestre National de Lyon (ONL). He is a laureate of several international competitions, including those in Krakow, Paris (Rampal Competition), and the Natexis Foundation. He performs as a soloist with various orchestras, including the ONL, playing repertoire from classical to contemporary.
