Beaudiment, Julien

Julien Beaudiment is a French flutist who studied flute with Paul Edmund-Davies and Averill Williams at the Guildhall School of Music in London, and Sophie Cherrier at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.
He has been principal flute with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and Orchestre de l'Opéra National de Lyon. Julien Beaudiment is a dedicated chamber musician and Laureate of the Barcelona international sonata competition.  He is a member of the “Faust wind quintet”.
Julien Beaudiment currently teaches at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon and is an artistic deputy at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne in Switzerland. Additionally he gives lessons at several academies: "Vanderbilt Academy” in Aix en Provence, the "Nice International summer Academy", the "Bruges Academy" in Belgium, the "Academie Internationale des Arcs" and gives masterclasses in USA, Europe and Asia.
