Breisach, Danielle

Danielle Breisach is an American flutist, educator, and conductor based in Madison, Wisconsin.
She earned her Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education and a Master of Music in Flute Performance from Western Michigan University. Additionally, she completed her Doctor of Musical Arts (D.M.A.) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Beyond the modern flute, she is a specialist in Baroque (traverso) and Celtic flutes, having participated in masterclasses with Barthold Kuijken and Kim Pineda.
Danielle has performed as a soloist and orchestral musician across North America, Europe, and Asia. She has performed with the Madison Symphony Orchestra, Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, and Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2012, she has served as the Co-Artistic Director of the Madison Flute Club. She teaches at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and at the private studio in Madison.
Her recordings include chamber music by Nicolas Bacri released on the Toccata Classics label.
