Polish flutist Łukasz Długosz has received thorough education at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris and at Yale University in New Haven.
As a soloist he has performed in Europe, Japan, China and the USA playing with such conductors as Zubin Mehta, Krzysztof Penderecki, Jacek Kaspszyk, Mariss Jansons, Stanislaw Skrowaczewski, Helmuth Rilling, Jerzy Maksymiuk and Gabriel Chmura.
In January 2010, he made his debut with the London Symphony Orchestra and made a recording of Michael Colina’s Flute Concerto. Łukasz Długosz has made substantial amount or recordings for SONY, NAXOS, CPO, DUX and Fleur De Son labels as well as for Polish, German and French Radio Stations.
