Heith, David

David Heath (1956) is a British flutist and composer who studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Interested in modern jazz since age of 17 Heith greatly explored his flutist and composition abilities in various styles. Heath has performed with many renown musicians and played on a special flute made exclusively for him by Albert Cooper. Among his most notable compositions for flute: Flute Concerto Free the Spirit (premiered by Sir James Galway), and The Ascension (1994) written for James Galway.
