Hoeppner, Susan

Susan Hoeppner is a Canadian flutist who has studied with Julius Baker at The Juilliard School and took masterclasses from Louis Moyse, Geoffrey Gilbert, and Robert Aitken.
In 1987 she won the Serge and Olga Koussevitsky Competition in New York and became a laureate of the CBC Young Performer's Competition.
She has performed with the Toronto Symphony, the Calgary Philharmonic, the New York Chamber Orchestra to name a few.
Susan Hoeppner has made recording for EMI Classics, Grammophon AB BIS, JVC Victor, Marquis Classics and the King Record labels.
She has taught flute at the University of Toronto and has given masterclasses in Canada and US.
