Hoyos, Gaspar

Hoyos, Gaspar

Born in Bogota, Colombia, Gaspar Hoyos studied flute with Paula Robinson in Boston and Raymond Guiot and Jean-Pierre Rampal in Paris.
Laureate of several competitions (Jean-Pierre Rampal Competition, NFA Young Artist Competition etc.) he was able to perform on various important venues, festivals and conventions, including the Theatre des Champs Elysées, Nancyphonies, Montpellier Radio-France, to name a few.
Currently he serves as Principal Flute at Opera Nationale de Lorraine orchestra in France, and is part of the New Music Ensemble Ultim’asonata.
