Ivusheykova, Olga

Olga Ivusheykova is a Russian flutist who studied at the Gnessin Music College and Moscow Conservatory with Yuri Dolzhnikov as well as at the F.Medelsohn University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig.
Winner of the Russian National Competition and laureate of Scheveningen (Holland) competition, she initially worked as the solo flutist in the Moscow Radio and Television orchestra.
As a soloist, she has played with various orchestras an ensembles in Russia, Germany, Austria, Holland, Great Britain, Switzerland, Italy, and USA.
Since 2004 Olga Ivusheyikova is Soloist of Pratum Integrum — the only orchestra in Russia that performs on historical instruments. In 1997 she accepted a teaching position at The Moscow Conservatory. Since 2002 she teaches at the Gnessin Music College as well.
