Jensen, Thomas

Thomas Jensen is a Danish flutist, solo flutist in the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra, and associate professor at The Royal Academy of Music in Arhus.
He received his first musical training in the Tivoli-Guards (Copenhagen) under the flutist Preben Rasmussen. He continued his private studies with Eyvind Rafn and over the course of several years attended masterclasses with Jean Pierre Rampal.

Thomas Jensen has been awarded prizes at several international flute competitions (Montreux and Paris) and has made a number of CD recordings.
He has appeared as a soloist at concerts in Europe and the USA and has conducted several orchestras in Denmark, Poland, Germany and
Russia.
