Kim, Yubeen
Yubeen Kim is a Korean flutist, currently the Principal Flute of the San Francisco Symphony, and a Professor of Flute at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
He studied flute in Yewon school in Korea and with Philippe Bernold at the CNSM in Lyon and Liechtenstein International Musikakademie. He is a laureate of various international competitions, including ARD (2022), Geneva (2014), and Prague (2015).
From 2016 till 2014 he held a Principal flute position in the Konzerthausorchester Berlin. Additionally, he has regularly performed with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra as a guest Principal Flute.
