Kittel, Sabine
Sabine Kittel is a renowned German flutist, primarily known as the Principal Flute of the prestigious Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden.
Kittel initially studied flute with Johannes Walter at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden. Then she studied with Paul Meisen at the Munich University of Music, and participated in masterclasses with Aurèle Nicolet.
Sabine is a laureate of Budapest (1994), ARD (1995), and the "Brüder-Busch-Preis" competitions.
She has taught at the Giuseppe Sinopoli Academy of the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden, and, since 2018, she has been a faculty member at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden.
