Loi, Francesco

Francesco Loi is the solo flutist at the Teatro Carlo Felice Di Genova and collaborate with the Teatro Alla Scala di Milano and Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
Born in Sardinia, he studied flute at Conservatory of Cagliari and later with Massimo Mercelli and Maxence Larrieu at the Conservatory of Geneva in Switzerland.
From 1995 until 1997 he was principal flute of Orchestra Giovanile Italiana. As a soloist he has played with Solisti aquilani, Camerata strumentale città di Prato, Deutchekammervirtuosen, Carlo Felice of Genova and Orpheus chamber orchestra of New York,  appearing at many festivals around the world.
He has taught at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Milan and the Senzoku University of Tokyo.
