McGill, Demarre

Demarre McGill has studied flute at the Curtis Institute of Music and Juilliard and gained recognition as a soloist, recitalist, chamber and orchestral musician throughout United States.
He has performed as soloist with symphony orchestras of Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Dallas and Baltimore.

Demarre McGill is the principal flute of the Seattle Symphony, and recently served as acting principal flute of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and earlier with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2019, he is an Associate Professor of Flute at Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and is an artist-faculty member of the Aspen Music Festival and School.
