McLearnon, Gareth

Gareth McLearnon is an internationally renowned Irish flutist, composer, arranger and educator who studied flute at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.
He has held a principal flute position in Southbank Sinfonia (2015), Heritage Orchestra (since 2009) as well as often freelanced with all London orchestras up until 2021 when he moved to Strasbourg, France.
Since 2013 he was active as a performer and teacher in all major cities and concert venues in Russia, collaborating with Yuri Bashmet and renown ensemble "Moscow Soloists".  
He has given performances and masterclasses throughout the world and has participated in many recordings as a soloist, chamber musician or orchestra member.
