Milan, Susan

Susan Milan is a renown British flautist, composer and teacher, professor of flute at the Royal College of Music. She has been the principal flute of the Bournemouth Sinfonietta and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
As a soloist Susan Milan has performed regularly throughout Europe, USA and Asia.
She has made a substantial number of recordings for Chandos, Hyperion, Upbeat, Da Capo, Omega, Denon, Cala and Metier and Divine Art labels.
Many composers have written compositions for her, including flute concertos by Carl Davis, Richard Rodney Bennett, Keith Gates and Robert Simpson.
