Monson, Patty

Patti Monson is an American flutist who is known for her critically acclaimed new music performances in New York area.
She studied flute at the Eastman School of Music and the Yale University School of Music with Robert Dick, Bonita Boyd and Samuel Baron.
Patti Monson has been a faculty member of the Manhattan School of Music and "The Bang On A Can Summer Institute". She is a director of the MSM contemporary ensemble TACTUS and also a member of the new music ensembles Sequitur and The Curiously Strong Wind Quintet.
