Muñoz, María Cecilia

María Cecilia Muñoz is a prize-winning Argentinian flutist. Laureate of Nielsen, Beijing, Crusell, Aeolus, etc. competitions.
She studied flute with Adriana Rodriguez in Argentina and Felix Renggli at the Hochschule Basel in Switzerland. Additionally, she took masterclasses with Aurele Nicolet.
María has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in prominent halls such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, Konzerthaus Berlin, Konzerthaus Dortmund, the Tonhalle Düsseldorf, and Zürich.
She was the solo flutist of the Camerata Bern and Sinfonieorchester Jura/Switzerland and collaborated with the Basel and Lausanne chamber orchestras. During that time, she had the opportunity to play under renowned conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Peter Eötvös, Charles Dutoit, and Heinz Holliger
Since 2013, she has been a member of the Opera Orchestra of the Colon Theater in Buenos Aires/Argentina.
