Nicholson, Andrew
Andrew Nicholson is a renown British flautist who currently holds the principal flute position in the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.
Prior that he has been principal flute with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the Halle Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.
He has studied at Chetham’s School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Andrew Nicholson has regularly appeared as a guest principal flutist with the London Symphony orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Bournemouth Symphony, BBC Philharmonic to name a few.
