Noakes, Anna

Anna Noakes is a renown British flutist, concerto and recording soloist. She has performed with all leading orchestras in UK and has appeared as a soloist at such festivals as Cheltenham, Brighton, Leicester, Salisbury, City of London and Dartington.
Anna Noakes broadcasts for BBC Radio3 and Classic FM and works as Guest Principal Flute with the LPO, Philharmonia, RPO, the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House etc.
She has made many recordings for films like "James Bond", "Kingsman", "Lord of the Rings", "Harry Potter", "Shrek" to name a few.
Her playing has inspired composers such as Simon Holt, Martin Yates, Cecilia McDowall, John Ashton Thomas, Dave Heath and Martin Butler and she has made recordings for Dutton, ASV, Naxos and Guild labels.
For 17 years she has been a faculty member at the Trinity College and 10 years was the Artistic Director of the Yoxford Arts Festival.
