Pueyo, Luis Martínez

Luis Martínez Pueyo is a Traverso and Chamber musician specializing in Early Music.
Born in Zaragoza, he studied flute at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón and traverso flute with Marc Hantaï at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) and the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. Additionally he advanced his Early Music studies with Barthold Kuijken, Wilbert Hazelzet, Kate Clark, to name a few.
Luis Martínez Pueyo is a founding member and artistic director of La Guirlande - an ensemble which specializes in performance of 18th and 19th century music.
Additionally he has played in many orchestras and ensembles: Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, The Bach Collektiv, Wunderkammer BerlinBach Akademie Luzern, Ensemble Cristofori, etc., performing throughout many prestigious venues in Spain, France, Germany, Scotland, Austria, Switzerland and Holland.
