Schneider, Loïc

Loïc Schneider is a French flutist who initially studied with Christine Turellier, Philippe Jolivet and Sandrine François in his native Strasbourg, and later with Claude Lefèbre at the Conservatory of Paris (CNR).
In 2004 he won solo flutist position in the National Orchestra of Lorraine at Metz which he held until 2009 when he was appointed as solo flutist of the Swiss Romande Orchestra at Geneva by Maestro Marek Janowski.
Loïc Schneider is a laureate of several international competitions: Jean-Pierre Rampal Flute competition (2005), the A. Nicolet Competition of Beijing (2006), the Larrieu Competition of Nice (1007), Kobe (2009), and ARD (2010). This success led to appearances at numerous festivals and concert venues. Loïc Schneider has performed as soloist with Beijing, Taipei, Nümberger, Osnabrücker, Slovakia’s Radio orchestras to name a few.
