Schnöller, Isabelle

Swiss flutist Isabelle Schnöller is a principal flutist in the Basel Chamber Orchestra, member of the Camerata Variabile and the Arion Wind Quintet.
Born in Basel, she studied flute with Kiyoshi Kasai and Robert Aitken at the Musikhochschule Freiburg. Laureate of several national competitions, she won "Jeunesses musicales" competition in Belgrade (1992).
As a soloist she has been a guest at various festivals, including the Mozart Festival in Würzburg, the Chamber Music Festival in Båstad and the SOLsberg Festival.
Several composers have written works for her: Robert Aitken, Helena Winkelmann, David Philip Hefti and Hans-Martin Linde.
