Terragni, Miriam

Miriam Terragni is a distinguished Swiss virtuoso flutist and pedagogue known for her technical brilliance and her role as a leader in the Swiss orchestral scene.
Born in Laufen, Switzerland, she studied at the Basel Academy of Music with Felix Renggli and later moved to Paris to study with the legendary Pierre-Yves Artaud at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique (CNSMDP). She further refined her artistry through masterclasses with Aurèle Nicolet.
Since 1999, she has served as a Solo Flutist with the Sinfonieorchester Basel.
Terragni has performed as a soloist throughout Europe and Asia. She is a founding member of the Lemanic Modern Ensemble, focusing on 20th and 21st-century repertoire.
