Van Dyck, Edith

Edith Van Dyck is a Flemish flutist who has studied flute with Silveer Van den Broeck at the Stedelijk Conservatorium in Mechelen; Leon Berendse at the Brabants Conservatorium in Tilburg and with Kate Hill, Sebastian Bell, William Bennett and Patricia Morris at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Laureate of several competitions in Belgium and UK, she became Principal flute of the Royal Flemish Philharmonic Orchestra.
For over 26 years she has given recitals with her mother Helene Luyten (piano) at various venues and festivals.
Currently Edith Van Dyck is the Principal flute of the Royal Flemish Philharmonic Orchestra.
Edith Van Dyck is a professor of flute at the Conservatory of the Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Tilburg.
