Zampetti, Sergio

Sergio Zampetti was an Italian flutist and teacher who studied with Mauro Scappini, Andrea Griminelli and Alain Marion at the "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory in Como.
Since 2002 he mainly performed as a soloist, appearing in all major halls in Italy and abroad, including Carnegie Hall in New York etc.
He had recorded for RAI, RTS, Mediaset as well as several CDs for Phoenix and Jecklin labels.
In 2007 he became Artistic Director of the musical season "The sounds of time" at the Pievi della Lunigiana.
Together with his brother Claudio, he ran "Il Fabbro Armonioso" Music School in Saronno.
