Zucker, Laurel

Laurel Zucker is an American flutist, composer and teacher.
She studied flute with Samuel Baron at Juilliard School and with Paula Robison at the New England Conservatory. Additionally she took lessons from Marcel Moyse and Julius Baker.
Later Laurel Zucker studied composition at the New York University. Her music has been published by several publishers and she has made recordings of her own compositions for Cantilena Records label.
Overall she has made recordings of more than 30 CDs and her performances have been broadcasted on radio stations in Europe, US, Canada, Israel and South America.
Laurel Zucker has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at the Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall and many festivals throughout the world: Marlboro, Fontainebleau etc.
Laurel Zucker is a Professor of Flute at the California State University in Sacramento.
