By Ainars Pudans on Sep 07, 2023

"Mastering the Flute" team visited Latvian composer Pēteris Vasks to talk about his compositions for the flute. This is the #1 video of our visit where he talks about the flute as his favorite woodwind instrument and what he conveys in his works.
The other videos will be dedicated to each particular flute composition by Pēteris Vasks: "Landscape with birds" for flute solo, Flute concerto, Sonata for Flute and Alto Flute solo, and "Little Summer music" for flute and piano.
