International Flute Competition FLAUTA AUREA was founded by the Croatian Flute Association in Zagreb in 2005, to encourage and affirm young artists. The competition takes place every two years, attracting young flutists from different countries who have the opportunity to meet with their colleagues, introduce themselves to the international commission and wider audience, hear performances of other competitors and guests, and gain their own valuable concert experience.
